    Our Vision

    Goal

    To empower and integrate persons with disabilities into mainstream society through community mobilization, skill development, and access to healthcare and Government welfare schemes, thereby improving their quality of life and promoting inclusive development.

    Structure of Functioning

    Community-based disability groups at village level federated at diocesan level with partnerships with healthcare providers, government agencies, and local organizations for welfare and skill development.

    Our Purpose

    Aims & Objectives

    To form and empower differently abled persons groups; advocate for enhanced disability status; facilitate access to government welfare schemes; identify and develop income-generating skills; and provide physiotherapy and speech therapy to children with cerebral palsy and mental retardation under 18 years.

    • Capacity building for disability groups - 15 new groups formed in 2025
    • Leadership development trainings for group members
    • Skill training in tailoring and stitching - 12 individuals trained
    • Mobile service training - 10 individuals trained
    • Rights-based advocacy training
    • Peer support and mentoring programs

    Village Level Activities

    • Identifying clients and forming community disability groups
    • Formation of village-level teams and coordination structures
    • Peer gathering and mutual support meetings
    • Community education on disability rights and inclusion
    • Building ownership and strengthening leadership quality
    • Individual assessments and case management
    • Income generation activities and livelihood support

    Block and Diocesan Level Activities

    • Access to Government welfare schemes - 15 different schemes availed by 935 beneficiaries
    • IGP loans provided - 2 individuals received assistance
    • Monthly pensions facilitated - 31 beneficiaries
    • UDID card processing - 18 individuals
    • Wheelchair distribution - 5 received
    • Scribes assistance - 8 individuals supported
    • Privilege cards - 27 issued
    • Three-wheel bikes - 9 distributed
    • Transport passes (bus and train) - 26 beneficiaries
    • Smartphones provided - 2 individuals
    • Motorized wheelchairs - 3 distributed
    • CM Health insurance cards - 4 issued
    • Physiotherapy treatment - 8 clients receiving ongoing support with new interventions
    • Speech therapy services - 2 children receiving structured intervention for communication skills
    • Tailoring certificates - 17 individuals certified
    • Motorized sewing machines - 1 distributed; Regular sewing machines - 4 distributed
    • Calipers and mobility aids - provided to individuals as needed
    • Annual gathering and group meetings
    • Welfare assistance and funeral assistance
    • Diocesan-level coordination and monitoring
    • Income enhancement support - 2 individuals received Rs. 1,00,000 each for income-generating activities
