    To educate on preventive health care, health education and awareness program in hygiene, nutrition, herbal medicine, promotion of naturopathy treatment etc.

    To popularize natural medicine and medical practices

    What We Do

    Activities Conducted

    Awareness training to enable people to live healthy lives.

    Formation of Health groups in the rural villages with fully trained and dedicated Community Health Workers.

    Providing awareness about nutritious food and teaching how to prepare them.

    Encouraging people to adapt natural medicine.

    Providing necessary training through KIDSS target community groups, associations, and grassroots development organizations to enable people to live safely, protected from deadly diseases like communicable and non-communicable disease.

    Producing and distributing food and medicinal products to help people access nutritious, natural food.

    Naturopathy health camps in the rural village and exhibitions.

    Special Facility

    Fr. James Tombeur Memorial Holistic Naturopathy Health Centre

    Established 1995

    Fr. James Tombeur Memorial Holistic Naturopathy Health Centre at Chunkankadai was started in 1995 and promotes holistic health care to the people near and far. Naturopathy medicines and nutritional supplementary food are given more importance and medicines are prepared with locally available herbs at the center. The health center functions from Monday to Saturday and drugless treatment facilities are available at the center.

    Programmes & Units

    Health Mix Unit

    A rich supplementary high protein food prepared from local grain and pulses and made available for sale.

    Spirulina Unit

    Spirulina in itself is an all-Nutrient balanced diet, capable of curing all mal-nutrition related diseases. It is used as medicine as well as food supplement.

    Herbal Garden & Medicines

    Herbal garden cultivating locally available medicinal herbs used to prepare natural medicines at the center.
