    Our Vision

To create a society where the historically oppressed Dalit people experience the values of God’s kingdom in their lives, living with the dignity of all being one community.

    Our Mission

The mission of the Dalit People’s Development Programme is to empower and uplift the marginalized Dalit people by helping them regain the human dignity and rights that have been taken away from them, enabling them to become aware, organize themselves into a movement, and gain strength to change their own situation and contribute to changing the society in which they live.

    Project Director

    Rev. Fr. Maria Soosai

    Structure of Functioning

Village level groups, organized into Vicariate (block) and Diocesan (District) level.

The main focus is to organise the unorganised SC/ST (Vannar, Navithar, Aiyanavar, Pallar, Paraiyar, Cheramar, Sambavar, Kerala Mudaliyar and Kani communities) people living in small number at different villages within KIDSS operational area. Based on their livelihood we organise them in groups and support them to overcome the problems they face on all aspects of life. They are motivated to come together and work for their economic developments, livelihood, education, etc.
